I am sick. I just took some meds but yuck I hate having a cold. It’s horrible and I feel like crap. I have to say that my husband has been  making lunches and yeah I am not excited about it at all but he is doing his best. The boys no doubt love it because it’s full of cookies and rice crispy treats but when you are sick you are sick.

Well all I have to say is that I will never take another close up with my iphone. What a horrible camera it is. I tried my best but at the time all I had is my iphone.

I had made two little guys out of a hot dog wrapped in cresent rolls and baked for 10 mins. I cut them in half added some “faces” in ketchup. You totally can’t see it in this picture but it turned out so super cute I loved it. My boy took a nibble of it and that is all but that is a long way for us so I am ok with it. Anyway I just wished I could have showed you a better picture of my little guys. I really like them they looked like ghosts lol.

Also here is a picture taken with my iphone again in Toy R Us for my husbands show Hero 108! Such cool toys I tell ya!

Ok so anyway this week we are doing faces and I promise that I will take a better picture of my bento faces!

Well of course this mornings lunches are much like the whole and week and it’s gone very well. This coming Monday I want to start making some faces and what I use to make them and how really easy it is. So I would get your cookie cutters out and we can start going for it now. Eeek I can’t wait. My younger son won’t have any but my older one will so it will  be fun. Also I wanted to talk about having a theme for your bento’s. Some people love a themed lunch others don’t . I don’t think kids get themes at this age so it would be if you would like to “theme” it then it would be up to you. My older son loves Pokemon so I try and make the animals or pokemon but it’s hard. I can make the poke ball and other simple stuff. You can seriously go all out by keeping a sketch book and making sketches etc but when you are first fooling around with it. It’s trial by error and it’s experimenting. That is totally what it is all about and that is what we love in our kids and what will be fun for you to discover or to keep on experimenting. So I can’t wait to start next week and start making some faces! See right now I have my tongue sticking out LOL.

Hero 108 is a show my husband directs and we saw the toys in Toys R Us. Omgosh it was very exciting. It’s on Cartoon Network and well worth checking out. Also his new show he directed called Zevo-3 will be airing 5pm Eastern Time on Sunday Aug 22. Omgosh I am so excited so if you want to check out these shows here are the links:
